Lights Out And Dance acknowledges the traditional custodians and cultures of the lands on which we dance.

We are grateful to be dancing on lands of the traditional custodians who have been dancing in the dark for centuries, the Yugambeh-Bundjalung peoples, including the Kombumerri, Mununjali, Wangerriburra on the Gold Coast, and the Wulgurukaba peoples on Magnetic Island.  We pay our respects to all First Nations peoples, elders and ancestors. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and stand in solidarity towards a shared future.
