✨ SILENT DISCO UNDER THE STARS✨
Updated: Apr 27
Exciting news Groovers & Shakers,
Your feedback regarding our recent Silent Disco events was overwhelming love and support of getting outside and dancing under the stars, so we are incredibly excited to launch a brand new regular event:
Silent Disco Under the Stars, presented by Lights Out And Dance!
Taking place on the closest Wednesday to the full moon EACH MONTH, we'll be bringing the entire Lights Out tribe from all sessions across the coast together to recharge our batteries with an exhilarating & invigorating dance outdoors in the fresh air under the stars by Evandale Lake at HOTA, Home of the Arts, with the picturesque backdrop of Surfers Paradise.
As part of your booking, we provide headsets & three fun high-energy channels/playlists for you to flick between on the night. With three channels, if you don't like a song you can simply change the channel! Each channel has its own colour, so you’ll be able to see who is vibing on the same song as you!
You can have a hand in deciding what we dance too by voting on our website for your theme choice, or nominating a new one.
Please note, 80s, Old School Hip Hop & RnB and Aussie Mixtape were our April themes and have been removed from the voting options for the next couple of events.
Below is a map where you can find the two best options for parking, and where you will find us on your arrival. Our dancing location is beside Evandale Lake behind HOTA’s Outdoor Stage, at the Southern end of the park – you’ll be able to see a table with glowing headsets!
By booking your ticket you acknowledge you will adhere to the Silent Disco Under the Stars Event Terms and Conditions.
Early bird $20.00.
NDIS Carers $10.00
Kids under 15 - $15.00
Ticket sales end at 5pm event day.
Invite your friends, family members, or someone special and ask them to join you for a dance under the stars and (almost) full moon – Très Romantique 🖤

Lights Out And Dance proudly acknowledges honours and values the Traditional Custodians and families of the land on which we dance and who have been on this land, under the stars for centuries before us, the Kombumerri mob of the Yugambeh people. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands and waters. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and stand in solidarity towards a shared future.
